Left Turn Causes Motorcycle Crash

The Sun Herald is reporting about a motorcycle crash that appears to have been caused by a car making a left turn.  Unfortunately, this is a very common scenario in traffic accidents involving motorcycles.  The problem is generally because the driver of the car is not keeping a proper lookout for smaller vehicles like motorcycles.  This is a devastating mistake.  We should all be aware of motorcycles on our roads today.  Drivers of cars MUST watch out for Motorcycle Riders and BE SURE you have a clear intersection with no approaching vehicles before making  a left hand turn.

Motorcycle riders can do their part by slowing down at intersections, and riding with the headlights on.
