Since I began representing more and more car wreck victims, I began paying a lot more attention to how fast I drive. This was because speed regularly turns up as a factor in the car wreck claims I handle. A little speeding goes a long way towards causing car wrecks and I learned that slowing down just a little helps maintain better control of your car. The difference between 65 mph and 55 mph was very noticeable to me especially when attempting avoidance maneuvers.
The point is speeding causes you to have less control your vehicle and increases your likelyhood of being in a car wreck.
